International Workshop for Users of Proliferation Assessment Tools
Workshop I: Users in Regulatory Roles
February 23-25, 2010
Texas A&M University
College Station, Texas USA
Register Now. -- Registration Extended to February 19
A large number of approaches to proliferation assessment have been developed or are currently under development. These tools are used by a number of different types of users for a range of purposes. The diffuse nature of the field may diminish the effectiveness of these tools, or result in inconsistent application or misuse. The workshop will provide a venue for assessment and methodology developers to interact with users and government officials. Developers will discuss the status of the field and current research and users will discuss current and anticipated needs to which assessment and methodology approaches could contribute. From this, a consensus research agenda will be developed
This workshop will focus on users in regulatory roles and attempt to:
- Improve the user group's understanding of available tools and approaches
