Welcome to the winter edition of the INMM Communicator. Feb. 1 is the deadline for abstracts for the 47th INMM annual meeting, which will be held in Nashville, Tenn., July 16-20. While preparing the abstracts for the meeting, keep in mind the students who have been working with you throughout the year.

INMM encourages student participation at the Annual Meeting with reduced INMM membership fees and meeting registration fees. In addition, INMM’s Student Activities Committee plans events such as the Student Orientation and the Student Initiative Meeting, where the students can learn more about INMM activities. Every year an award is presented to the best student paper, and all students presenting a paper can participate in the competition.

In this issue of the Communicator, you will find a report by Jim Larrimore, Gotthard Stein, and Grace Thompson on the 2005 INMM/ESARDA Workshop held in Santa Fe, N.M. In addition, Yvonne Ferris, chair of the Awards Committee, invites nominations for awards of our deserving colleagues.

Our regular pieces include Member News, news on the membership by Membership Chair Scott Vance, and a piece by INMM Vice President Nancy Jo Nicholas, who provides us with information on INMM leadership in her column Inside Insights.
