Annual Meeting
As other sections of this edition of the Communicator discuss in more detail, this year’s INMM Annual Meeting, July 8-12, at the Starr Pass Resort in Tucson, Ariz., could be the largest we have ever had the privilege of holding. The number of high-quality abstracts that were submitted is phenomenal, and the meeting is scheduled to be four and a half days of the best and most up-to-date information about the management of nuclear materials. I hope that all of you are planning to attend.

New Member/Senior Member Reception
For those of you who have joined INMM since our last annual meeting, mark your calendar for the New Member/New Senior Member Reception to be held during the Annual Meeting. This reception is an opportunity for you to meet the Executive Committee as well as other officers of INMM, and our opportunity to welcome all of the new members and honor those who have recently been selected as Senior Members. The reception will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 9.

If you are a new member or new Senior Member, you will receive an invitation with the details. Make your plans now to attend the INMM Annual Meeting. As a member, you are eligible to receive reduced rates for registration.

Senior Members
We are beginning the process to solicit applications for new Senior Members. A broadcast e-mail will be sent out soon, and we encourage qualified INMM members to apply. The application deadline is April 1.

New Members
Since the last edition of the Communicator, the Membership Committee has had the privilege of reviewing the applications of and approving 33 new members. These new members are listed below.

As always, if you find the name of a colleague on this list, be sure to welcome them and let them know the ways that you find your INMM membership valuable. And, remember to keep your own contact information up to date in our online directory.

Members Only Section
Updating your contact information is easy and takes only a few minutes. INMM headquarters has been working to improve the Members Only section of the INMM Web site, and your changes are reflected in the online directory automatically. Members received an announcement about the new features of the section in late February. If you haven't taken a few moments to check out the new features, we encourage you to do so now.

Electronic Balloting for INMM Elections
Another exciting change is the ability of eligible members to vote electronically in the upcoming Executive Committee elections. This process will allow more members to participate in the election process. View an animated demonstration of the online voting procedure http://help.votenet.com/demo/eballot_pollbooth.cfm to become familiar with the new process. Learn more.

I welcome your news about any INMM member, including yourself. Send any items of interest and keep your colleagues informed by contacting either me at gethomp@sandia.gov or our Communicator Editor, Sara Pozzi at pozzisa@ornl.gov. Include photographs when possible.

I encourage all new members and existing members to get involved in the six technical divisions of INMM and in regional chapter and student chapter activities. See you at the Annual Meeting!
