INMM's Newest Student Chapter: A Report from the INMM University of Michigan Chapter
 |
By Eric Miller
INMM University of Michigan Student Chapter President |
The new INMM student chapter at the University of Michigan is proud to be officially recognized by the INMM. As a new student organization on campus, we are working hard under the guidance of our faculty advisor, Sara Pozzi, to make our presence known and recruit new members.
Last semester we had two general meetings where we explained to students the goals of INMM. On March 18,we had the honor of hosting the chair of the INMM Nonproliferation and Arms Control Technical Division, Steve Mladineo. Steve gave an interesting presentation on “Nuclear Security Culture” to a packed house of more than 40 people, including students and faculty members. This presentation was such a success that our chapter is looking forward to hosting more speakers this upcoming semester. If you would like to visit us for a special seminar, please let us know!
