Closing Plenary: Using Open Source Information to Identify Nuclear-related Activities

INMM’s closing plenary session will offer a multimedia presentation about using open source information to identify and characterize proliferation and other nuclear-related activities.

This interactive session will be led by Bryan Lee, Director of the Eurasian Nonproliferation Program at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.

Mr. Lee has led the Center’s research into open source intelligence tools and methods since 2011. He has more than 20 years of experience managing large, complex organizations in the defense, intelligence, and Homeland Security fields. Mr. Lee is a recipient of the Distinguished Analyst award from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and has served as the principal intelligence briefer to the Assistant Secretaries of Defense for Global Security Affairs and International Security Policy, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Eurasia, and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Central Asia.
