The INMM organization as a whole will truly miss the wisdom, guidance, and wit of our late friend and colleague Charles Pietri.  Rest in peace Charlie!  Last year’s INMM Annual Meeting in Palm Desert was another resounding success and Charles was a HUGE part of making that happen, along with all the other Annual Meetings in recent memory.  We are planning to live up to the high standards Charlie set in preparing for this year’s meeting. 

By the way, have you registered yet for the INMM Annual Meeting scheduled for July 15-19, 2012, in Orlando, Florida?  Hopefully, the answer is yes and you’ve marked your calendars.  If not, get registered soon using the INMM Web site at www.inmm.org.  It’s fast and easy!

Over the past few years, the INMM has focused on developing and fostering student interest in the field of nuclear materials management.  As a result, the Membership Committee has seen a large number of student applicants and the formation of additional student chapters.  That bodes well for the future of the INMM. 

Since the last Communicator in December 2011, the Membership Committee has recommended approval of 108 Regular member, 27 Student member, and 2 Sustaining member applications.  These new members are listed below. 

If you happen to find the name of a colleague on the list below, be sure to welcome them and let them know the ways that you find your INMM membership valuable. In addition, remember to keep your own contact information up to date in the INMM online directory.  Modifying the database to reflect your most recent contact information is also easy and takes only a few minutes at the INMM Web site at www.inmm.org.  Your changes with be reflected in the online directory immediately.
